Adam Scott’s ‘Greatest Event in Television History’ Teases Third Installment (Photo)

Adult Swim and Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott are teaming up for another installment of The Greatest Event in Television History.

After remaking Simon and Simon with Mad Men's Jon Hamm in October 2012 and redoing the Hart to Hart opening credits with Amy Poehler in June, a third "remake" is on its way — hitting TV screens everywhere at midnight on Thursday, Nov. 7.

The only clue to the third redo is a photo of a couch on a studio lot. (See image above.)

What classic television show could the photo be hinting to? Could it be Too Close for Comfort, an early 1980s ABC comedy set in San Francisco starring Ted Knight and Nancy Dussault? Sure looks that way.

Certainly makes sense, as   The Greatest Event in Television History — a series of mockumentary specials centered on remaking TV series credits sequences — has paid homage to two '80s shows already.
