TV Rating: ABC Leads With CMA Music Festival, Downward ‘Dome’ Wins Monday

ABC took Monday night, thanks to a rising CMA Music Festival. The three-hour event also averaged 8.2 million viewers.

Under the Dome (2.3 adults) dropped by three-tenths of a point on CBS, still easily topped individual broadcasts for the night, but hit its lowest ratings of the summer. CBS' ongoing carriage dispute with Time Warner Cable customers in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas has the network blacked out for 3.2 million viewers, but thus far hasn't had a noticeable impact on ratings. The network averaged a 1.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers on Monday.

NBC saw growth for its primetime line-up, with American Ninja Warrior (1.6 adults) leading the way with a two-tenths jump. Get Out Alive (1.4 adults) and Siberia (0.7 adults) were also both up, each rising by a tenth of a point. The network averaged a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers.

Comedy encores brought an average 0.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 1.5 million viewers to Fox.

On the CW, a new episode of Breaking Pointe (0.2 adults) posted a modest recovery from last week's series low. The network averaged a 0.2 rating in the demo and 609,000 viewers.

Univision took a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers, while Telemundo had a 0.5 adults rating and 1.2 million viewers.
