Chris Brown suffered a seizure early Friday, his rep has now confirmed.
In a statement, Brown’s camp explains, “Chris suffered a non-epileptic seizure (NES)… His doctor tended to him [Friday] afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity.”
Paramedics responded to a 911 call at the Record Plant recording studio after the incident, but Brown was not hospitalized.
Early Saturday, Brown tweeted, “They won’t love u until u r a memory…”
Earlier in the week, the performer seemed to hint at a possible retirement.
He tweeted that his next album would “probably be my last,” and then wrote, “I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18.”
