Joy Behar Leaves ‘The View’: Her Best Moments (Video)

Joy Behar ended her 16-year run on The View on Friday, with a farewell episode that included clips of highlights and best wishes from famous friends.

Here's a look back at some of the comedian's best moments on the daytime talk show:

Walking out on Bill O'Reilly:

Behar and co-host Whoopi Goldberg infamously walked off The View set during an interview with Bill O'Reilly. Things were already heated when O'Reilly was talking about the planned mosque near Ground Zero. Behar at one point interrupted him and he said, "Listen to me because you'll learn." But then, during an argument with Whoopi Goldberg, O'Reilly said, "Muslims killed us on 9/11," prompting Goldberg to freak out and walk off the set with Behar. "I don't want to sit here now," Behar said as she was leaving.

Caught in the middle of Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck's epic argument:

Behar also found herself in the middle of a fight between two of the show's former co-hosts, Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who frequently clashed due to their opposing political views. Behar began by lashing out at then-president George W. Bush, listing a litany of things she believed he'd done wrong. Hasselbeck was in the midst of defending him when she said "our enemies in Iraq," leading O'Donnell to force Hasselbeck to admit that Iraq did not attack us on 9/11. The conversation got increasingly heated and personal from that point forward, with Behar trying to keep the peace and inject humor into the situation.

Quizzing President Obama on pop culture:

Behar quizzed Obama on pop culture during an appearance on the show. He knew that Kim Kardashian was only married for 72 days. But he did not know about 50 Shades of Grey, or as Behar described it: "the controversial sex book on many women's bedside tables." After Behar prefaced the question with, "This one you may not know. I'm hoping that you don't, as a matter of fact," Obama said "I don't know this," adding, "But I'll ask Michelle when I get home."

Getting curled by LL Cool J:

Asked how much he could bench press, LL Cool J did curls with Hasselbeck, Behar and even Sherri Shepherd.

Kissing Meredith Vieira (and others):

Vieira and Behar shared a brief smooch, leaning over then-co-host Star Jones, which was included in the highlights of Behar's 16 years on The View during Friday's farewell episode. Vieira talked about the kiss in her appearance on Behar's final episode, saying "There was something about Joy. I was drawn to her, and when we finally pushed Star aside, in a rather violent move, and locked lips, I don't know if it was that faint smell of peppermint and gin on her breath…"

Vieira then said she took it very seriously and felt that Behar did too, until Behar started kissing multiple guests and co-hosts, clips of which were also shown on Friday's episode. Behar and Vieira then kissed one last time and Behar kissed Barbara Walters, whom she said was upset she hadn't been kissed.
