MAG: Angelina Jolie “Talks Twins!”

Truth rating: 0

(OK!)

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are “getting ready for their new arrivals,” declares OK!

As you’ll recall, last month the magazine falsely told the world that Jolie was expecting twins, just the latest in an embarrassing string of miscues for the outlet, which has reported multiple fake “secret weddings” in the past for Jolie and Pitt, along “baby news” and “baby joy” stories that never panned out.

Unwilling to join reality, OK! is back at it with a new cover story that pretends Jolie and Pitt are currently expecting twins.

Of course, once you actually open the magazine, OK! quickly retreats to the position that the couple is “preparing” to add “two more babies to their brood.”

“Angie’s on a mission,” one so-called “pal” explains to the magazine. “She knows she doesn’t have a lot of time to safely make this happen. She and Brad would love to get pregnant naturally, but because they’re on a time crunch they’ve pretty much accepted that IVF will be the way to go. It will cut out a lot of time and they can greatly increase the chance of twins, which is the goal.”

Uh-huh.

A different insider tells OK!, “Angie has told friends she’s so determined to have twins, she’s taking every precaution necessary, including, she says, gaining at least 10 to 15 pounds because the best range for fertility is a body-mass index of 20 to 24, and Angie is below that right now.”

It’s amazing how all of Jolie’s so-called “friends” talk like a Wikipedia entry.

OK! blathers on and on about the actress’ “pre-preggers diet,” her other children’s supposed excitement over the impending arrivals, and how she and Pitt are planning to put another nursery into their home.

It’s all very informative, if one likes getting “information” from a publication that falsely alleged Jolie was starving herself earlier this year.

Given our skepticism about the mag’s Jolie reporting, we decided to ask someone close to her and Pitt for confirmation of the “twins” talk.

Not surprisingly, the whole thing is 100 percent wrong.

The OK! story is “not true,” an actual insider informs Gossip Cop.
