“Taylor’s looking for men on Facebook!” blares a headline from In Touch, which claims Taylor Swift is using the social media site to find her next boyfriend.
According to the mag, Swift “picked up her latest guy, ‘Criminal Minds’ star Matthew Gray Gubler, by ‘friending’ him on the site.”
A so-called “pal” of the singer alleges, “She messaged him out of the blue in June to tell him she thinks he’s cute.”
The purported friend tells the tabloid, “At first, Matthew didn’t believe it was her. Then Taylor invited him to her house in L.A. for dinner, and he realized it actually was her.”
Uh-huh.
In Touch goes on to claim that Gubler was “shocked” to see that Swift “had done her research and prepared some of his favorite foods,” quoting the supposed “insider” as saying, “But it worked — they’re still dating.”
No, they’re not — and they never were.
Gossip Cop debunked this wrong report more than one month ago.
And a close Swift insider again tells us that she and Gubler are “just friends.”
It seems to be a slow summer over at In Touch.
