Usher’s five-year-old son Usher Raymond V is reportedly in the intensive care unit of an Atlanta hospital after an accident at the singer’s pool on Monday.
According to TMZ, little Usher was playing with his aunt in the pool when he tried to retrieve a toy from the drain and got his arm stuck.
Neither the aunt nor the family’s maid was initially able to free the child’s arm; eventually, two men working in the house raced out and got him loose.
The little boy was given CPR and then taken by ambulance to the hospital.
It looks like he’s going to be OK, although his official status has not been disclosed.
He is the oldest of Usher’s sons with ex-wife Tameka Raymond, and both parents are said to be at the hospital.
Last year, Usher’s 11-year-old stepson Kile Glover died after a freak jet ski accident.
