It is not immediately clear why the bus driver lost control of the vehicle.
Authorities on Monday were investigating why a driver lost control of a bus carrying Italian tourists, crashed through the side wall of a highway bridge, and plunged into a ravine. At least 38 people were killed in the accident.
The bus was carrying a group of tourists from the town of Pozzuoli, on the coast east of Naples.
