‘Drop Dead Diva’ Sneak Peek: Stacy Goes After Hank the Bailiff (Exclusive Video)

Hank the bailiff is back on Drop Dead Diva, and Stacy has a surprising request for him.

The character, played by CSI's David Berman, first appeared on season one of the Lifetime series, during which he romantically pursued Jane (Brooke Elliott). Viewers will remember Hank as an eternal optimist with a sunny disposition and a penchant for performing impressions (especially cartoon characters). This time around, it's Stacy (April Bowlby) who is after Hank -- and what she wants may come as a big surprise to viewers.

Incidentally, Berman's return marks a family reunion of sorts behind the scenes: The actor is the brother of Drop Dead Diva executive producer/creator Josh Berman.

"Growing up, David brought drama and comedic relief to the Berman household, and now he does the same for Drop Dead Diva," Josh Berman tells The Hollywood Reporter.

Jaime Ray Newman also guest stars in Sunday's episode, "Fool for Love," as Grayson's (Jackson Hurst) ex-fiancee. Meanwhile, Jane attempts to reconcile with Owen (Lex Medlin) while working together representing a professor who's been arrested for smuggling drugs.

David Berman is best known for his role as David Phillips on CBS' long-running CSI. His other credits include Desperate Housewives and Vanished.
