“Glee” creator Ryan Murphy is speaking out about the death of star Cory Monteith and the show’s plans to navigate through the tragedy.

Monteith died at 31 last Saturday.

As Gossip Cop reported, production on the fifth season of “Glee” has been pushed back until next month as the show’s crew and cast — including Monteith’s real-life girlfriend Lea Michele — recover.

In interviews with multiple outlets on Saturday, Murphy indicated that the show intends to film the first two episodes of Season 5 — an already written tribute to The Beatles — as planned.

The third episode will deal with the death of Finn Hudson, Monteith’s character.

“Glee” writers will then take a long hiatus to determine how to best continue with the remainder of the season.

Murphy says that Michele was consulted on all decisions, and producers gave her the opportunity to proceed as she wanted; the actress let the “Glee” team know that she’ll be back and working as soon as production begins.

A memorial for Monteith is set for this coming week.
