In an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno , Jane Lynch spoke about her Glee co-star Cory Monteith, who died Saturday. She is the first cast member to speak publicly about Monteith’s death.
While Jane Lynch may have been booked on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to talk about her new series Hollywood Game Night, she took some time to mourn the loss of her Glee co-star Cory Monteith.
When Leno asked what Monteith was like, Lynch praised his big heart and called him a "real bright light." She went on to say, "He knew he was breathing rarified air, the gifts that this show, this wonderful show, gave us. And he was one of those guys who was always aware that it was a gift."
Lynch also told a story about Monteith using his own money to fly cross-country and see a sick child whose dying wish was to meet Monteith. "He was just a real giver," she concluded.
