TV Ratings: ‘Hollywood Game Night’ Gets Soft Start, ABC’s Thursday Dips More

Big Brother moved its eviction episode to Thursday last night, and, in the process, saw a bump from last week's kick-off. The series averaged a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49, rising three-tenths of a point from last Wednesday and tying Hell's Kitchen to win the night. CBS averaged a 1.6 rating with adults 18-49 and 6 million viewers.

After an encore of Hell's Kitchen, the Fox series aired its first original episode in two weeks. Averaging a 2.0 rating with adults 18-49, it was down a tenth of a point. Fox averaged a 1.6 adults rating and 4.0 million viewers for the night.

NBC capped off a week of launches with the return of And the Winner Is (1.0 adults). The series dropped nine-tenths from its last post-Voice sampling. As for Celebrity Game Night (1.3 adults), the series did manage to build on its lead-in at 10 p.m. and win the hour -- despite the soft nature of its open. NBC pulled in a 1.0 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers for the night.

Wipeout (0.9 adults) and Motive (0.8 adults) were both down a tenth of a point for series lows on ABC. Rookie Blue (1.0 adults), down two-tenths of a point, was at a season low. ABC averaged 0.9 adults rating and 4.6 million viewers.

Encores fetched a 0.2 adults rating and 566,000 viewers for the CW.

Univision averaged a 1.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers. Telemundo had a 0.6 adults rating and 1.4 million.
