Key and Peele to Host Co-Host TCA Awards

Key & Peele stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele are heading back to the Television Critics Association -- only this time the duo will co-host the group's annual awards show.

Key and Peele will bring their improv styles to the Aug. 3 invitation-only program that recognizes the best television programming for the 2012-13 season as chosen by the top TV critics in North America.

“We are so honored to be receiving this awar … Oh. Hosting? Yes! That’s what we meant,” Key and Peele said in a statement announcing the news Tuesday.

They become the latest in a line of talent to host the annual event, joining the likes of Bryan Cranston, Conan O'Brien, Drew Carey, Craig Ferguson, Wanda Sykes, Nick Offerman, Dax Shepard and Bob Newhart, among others.

Nominations for the 29th annual event were announced in June. FX's The Americans led all the nominees with four mentions.

The third season of Key & Peele will air in September on Comedy Central.
