Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were spotted together in Beverly Hills over the weekend (see pic at right).
This shouldn’t be much of a story — unless you’re one of the outlets that bought bogus rumors about the couple putting their wedding plans on hold and splitting this spring.
In May, Us Weekly took the bait — and now the outlet has been forced to treat the couple’s Sunday shopping trip as some kind of reconciliation after they purportedly “postponed their wedding plans.”
The outlet repeats unsubstantiated claims about the pair putting the “brakes” on a summer wedding, even though there were never any such plans in the first place, and the couple never called off their engagement.
Gossip Cop has consistently shot down those false rumors for months.
We’ll let Us Weekly and everyone else scramble and backtrack to explain the couple’s completely happy (and ordinary) outing together.
