Justin Bieber fans mobbed Westroads Mall in Omaha on Saturday after the star hinted that he might show up.

Police reported some minor crowd disturbances — but mall personnel say Bieber was not present.

The frenzy began after The Biebs, in town for a sold-out concert at CenturyLink Center, tweeted, “been a great little break but now gotta get back to tour. where are we going??? OMAHA MALL!!! @thatrygood u ready? #BelieveTour.”

Bieber’s message referenced a famous video he shot at the mall back in 2010, when the pop star and his crew led fans in a chant of “Omaha Mall” before recording an off-the-cuff song that went viral (see below).

On Saturday, Bieber followed up his initial message by posting the “Omaha Mall” scene from his movie Never Say Never and tweeting, “@thatrygood time to bring it back. #omahamall.”

Bieber’s pal Ryan Good replied, “On the way… omaha mall #remix.”

But while fans posted pictures and videos (see below) of the Biebs-fueled chaos, it appears they’ll have to wait for the concert itself to see their hero.
