John Mayer rocked the “Today Show” plaza on Friday, performing his new single “Paper Doll” as well as some old favorites.

Asked about speculation that the track is about Taylor Swift, the star remained coy.
Mayer said, “Anything someone else wrote is their reception of the song.”
The singer is currently on tour for the first time since undergoing throat surgery in 2011.
