Paula Deen has parted ways from her longtime agent in the wake of her N-word controversy.
On Thursday, the embattled celebrity chef announced she’s cutting ties from New York agent Barry Weiner, who helped get her on the Food Network in 2002.
Deen’s rep released a statement saying, “Paula Deen has separated from her agent. She and her family thank him for the tireless effort and dedication over the many years.”
It’s been a rough two weeks for the butter-loving cook, who has lost a slew of endorsement deals in the aftermath of her racism scandal.
Deen’s upcoming cookbook was also canceled by its publisher despite being the current #1 seller on Amazon.com.
