George Lucas’ Wife Mellody Hobson Says Wedding ‘Was Fun’ (Video)

George Lucas' new bride, Mellody Hobson, was back at work Monday morning, just days after a lavish Chicago reception for her wedding to the movie mogul.

Hobson, who's also a CBS News contributor, made an appearance on CBS This Morning to talk about student loan interest rates.

The segment was all business, but at the end, co-anchor Norah O'Donnell said she didn't want to let Hobson go without saying "congratulations" on her wedding. Hobson said, "Thanks," flashing a big smile and added, "It was fun," as a wedding photo of her and Lucas appeared on the screen.

Hobson then confirmed she was off on her honeymoon as O'Donnell said she appreciated the newlywed stopping by to see her and Charlie Rose first.

CBS This Morning co-anchor Gayle King, who was among the guests at Saturday's reception, wasn't there for Hobson's segment.

Hobson and Lucas tied the knot June 22 at Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, Calif., before holding a star-studded reception in the Windy City. The latter event featured a performance by Prince and guests including Robin Williams, Star Wars star Mark Hamill and Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel.
