Alec Baldwin is lashing out at a Daily Mail reporter for claiming his wife Hilaria Baldwin was tweeting during Thursday’s funeral service for James Gandolfini.

In the piece, headlined “Alec Baldwin’s pregnant wife Hilaria TWEETS about Rachael Ray and anniversary gifts during James Gandolfini’s funeral,” author George Stark alleged that “the pregnant yoga instructor’s social media feed was full of upbeat posts while the Sopranos star’s friends, family and co-stars  were gripped with grief at a New York Catholic church.”

The story was illustrated with screengrabs from Thomas’ Twitter feed, with Stark alleging that the tweets in question were sent during the “time of the service.”

In response, Baldwin initially tweeted Thursday night, “Someone wrote that my wife was tweeting at a funeral. Hey. That’s not true. But I’m gonna tweet at your funeral,” before sending out much harsher messages a few hours later.

“George Stark, you lying little b*tch. I am gonna f%#@ you up,” the “30 Rock” star wrote, along with a link to the story.

He wrote in another, “I’m gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I’m gonna f**k…you…up.”

Baldwin went on to lament, “How much of this sh*t are people supposed to take? With these f**king blatant lies EVERY DAY.”

For her part, Hilaria tweeted, “FYI I don’t believe in bringing phones into a funeral and I never did and I never would.”

“I don’t know what hurts more: people randomly and maliciously writing lies about you, or the people who actually believe them,” she added later.

The Daily Mail, meanwhile, is sticking by its story, although a rep for Baldwin and Thomas says there’s a simple explanation for the confusion.

“She didn’t have her phone with her during the service and she didn’t tweet anything til they had left,” the rep tells Gossip Cop, explaining, “They were there for a couple of hours, she is 7 1/2 months pregnant and left because she needed some water.”

The spokesperson goes on to note, “She retweeted people who had tweeted at those times,” accounting for the timestamps on the messages.
