"Mad Men"
Mad Men wrapped its penultimate season on Sunday night with an uptick in viewers.
At 10 p.m., the fifth season ender of the AMC drama averaged 2.7 million viewers, tying it as the most-watched season finale for the show to date. Mad Men was up nearly 700,000 viewers from the last week, though it was still a ways south of its April premiere.
The Matthew Weiner series kicked off its sixth season with 3.4 million viewers, relatively steady with the fifth season premiere. The show suffered steep drops in its second and third outings before plateauing at around 2.4 million viewers.
