‘Big Brother 15’ Twists Revealed

One day after THR debuted images of the new Big Brother house, CBS has revealed this summer's big twists.

A clue that season 15 was going to have a different set-up was the fact that there were no nomination chairs in the living room. (Usually there are two chairs prominently placed for those up for eviction.) This time around, houseguests will nominate three fellow competitors for eviction — instead of the usual two. Details were scarce, but CBS promises that the process will be explained during the season premiere.

The other big change gives America power to potentially affect the game each week. Viewers will vote for the houseguest they believe is playing the best game, and the person receiving the most votes will be deemed that week's Big Brother MVP. Like the first twist, the MVP's full powers will be revealed next week.

Interestingly, viewers will be able to start voting for the MVP even before the houseguests officially enter the game. Voting kicks off Thursday on the official Big Brother site following the official cast announcement. (Check back on The Live Feed then for more intel on the houseguests.)

Executive producers Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan only offered this hint about the significance of the MVP: "[It] will force the houseguests to rethink their strategies. With America rewarding good game play, it doesn't pay to be a floater this summer."

Big Brother premieres June 26 on CBS, and like past seasons will be broadcast three times a week in primetime (8 p.m. Sundays, 9 p.m. Tuesdays and 8 p.m. Wednesdays, the latter being the live evictions).
