Letterman: Kardashian Baby Should Be Launched Into Space (Video)

This weekend's birth of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby girl provided lots of fodder for late night comedians during their Monday monologues.

David Letterman, Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon all touched on the reality star and rapper's spawn.

"Kim was in labor for six hours," Leno said, "marking the first time the words Kardashian and labor have been used together in the same sentence."

"The doctor said when he slapped the baby, he regretted he couldn't slap the entire family," The Tonight Show host added.

Leno also joked that E! was developing a new series to help Kardashian and West with their plans to keep the baby's life private, called Keeping the Baby Out of the Public Eye With the Kardashians.

Meanwhile, Letterman offered a suggestion for how the girl could have a normal life.

"Here's what they should do: They should put her in a rocket, launch her to another planet and hope she's discovered by Ma and Pa Kent," he explained, referring to Superman's adopted parents.

Fallon focused his first joke on Kanye West.

"Today I saw Kanye wearing a shirt that said 'World's Greatest Dad.' He didn't get it as a gift. He bought it for himself," he said.

As for Kardashian, Fallon joked, "Kim says she's just glad the baby's healthy, happy and was born before Kate Middleton's baby."
