The first trailer for Prisoners debuted on Thursday.
In the thriller, Hugh Jackman and Terrence Howard play fathers who are devastated when their young daughters are shockingly kidnapped.
But when Jackman feels police detective Jake Gyllenhaal isn’t working hard enough to find the kids, he takes matters into his own hands — by holding the suspect (Paul Dano) hostage.
Viola Davis, Melissa Leo, and Maria Bello round-out the A-list cast.
The movie is slated to hit theaters September 20.
