Katy Perry appeared a bit “blue” as she was photographed for the first time since splitting from Russell Brand last month.
The “E.T.” singer, sporting bright blue-colored hair for an Adidas commercial she’s filming, happily posed with a fan in Santa Barbara on Thursday night.
On Monday, Perry backed out of attending the People’s Choice Awards, which would have been her first post-split appearance.
Despite the no-show, she picked up seven awards, and graciously thanked fans on Twitter, writing, “THANK U to every1 who voted for me for the @peopleschoice tonight! We won so many! Now I need to get more books 2 successfully display them!”
