Tuesday night featured an especially emotional episode of The Voice. Not only did the evening call for another double elimination, it also kicked off with a dedication to those affected by Monday's deadly tornado in Oklahoma.
Miranda Lambert joined Blake Shelton for a special performance of his hit "Over You," since the Voice coach was born and raised in Oklahoma. In the same vein, Shakira took the stage with her team (Sasha Allen and Kris Thomas) for the first time for a rendition of "I'll Stand By You" as sung by The Pretenders.
Other performances of the evening saw Team Blake (The Swon Brothers, Danielle Bradbery and Holly Tucker) onstage for Alabama's "Mountain Music," and Team Adam (Amber Carrington, Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons) perform The Kiki Dee Band's dance classic "I Got the Music in Me." Usher also sang with his contestants (Josiah Hawley and Michelle Chamuel) for the first time, opting for a sultry rendition of Dusty Springfield's "The Look of Love" -- complete with the coach shedding his blazer mid-song.

There was a fun reel looking at alternate career paths for the contestants, coaches and guest mentors. Sheryl Crow would pursue motocross racing, Cee Lo Green would definitely be a male exotic dancer, and Pharrell Williams would become a real-life Willy Wonka character with a chocolate factory -- but with girls added in, he said.

STORY: It's Official: 'The Voice' Bringing Back Original Coaches for Season 5
Hawley and Thomas were sent home. That leaves veteran coaches Adam Levine and Shelton once again unscathed with three singers each, and newbie mentors Usher and Shakira each with one contestant left. It also means that the only male act left in the top eight is The Swon Brothers, so unless they are able to continue forward to where no duo has gone before, another female will take the title and follow season three winner Cassadee Pope.
