‘Dexter’ Key Art: Michael C. Hall is All Wrapped Up and … Ready to Die?

Will Dexter Morgan's past finally catch up with him?

Heading into the eighth and final season of Showtime's Dexter, the premium cable network has released the official key art, which depicts Michael C. Hall's serial killer with a code under the plastic he often wraps his own victims in.

The final season picks up six months after Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) took LaGuerta's life after her boss was on the verge of catching Dexter in the act. The series will also add new blood to Miami Metro, including Charlotte Rampling as Dr. Evelyn "The Psychopath Whisperer" Vogel, who seems to pose a big problem from the get-go for Dex in a new clip promoting season eight.

"Part of what you need to do in a finale is start bringing some of the different threads together: his sister, his son, his love life, his professional life and his childhood trauma," Showtime entertainment president David Nevins recently told The Hollywood Reporterof the final season.
