“They don’t just fight for first place at the box office — Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s playful rivalry extends to the bathroom mirror and who gets the most facial treatments,” claims Star.
And with that, the tabloid takes its misguided reporting on Pitt’s physical appearance — which has included false stories about him wearing Spanx and getting hair extensions — to a whole new level.
“It’s turned into a bonding exercise, with Brad getting monthly laser resurfacing and Angie topping the procedure with brutal face peels,” explains a so-called “insider” for the magazine.
The supposed Star source continues, “They’re getting every procedure known to man. Brad even gets regular treatments to fix his pockmarked skin from childhood.”
According to the magazine, the two stars “have been outdoing each other when it comes to the most exotic, bizarre and wildly expensive facial treatments.”
Star then lists a TON of different procedures — including laser resurfacing, bee venom facials, Botox, skin bleaching, microdermabrasion — and their exorbitant costs, pretending that Jolie and Pitt are actually doing all of them.
The tab speculates that the duo’s “high-priced beauty rituals” could total a combined $601,400.
We can tell you where Star pulled that number from — and it’s nowhere near the face.
This entire alleged facial treatment “rivalry” between Pitt and Jolie is just another example of the tabloid’s incessant sensationalism when it comes to the A-Listers.
An actual source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop there’s “no truth” to the mag’s latest “absurd” report.
