Nicki Minaj slammed Mariah Carey in a Twitter rant on Thursday after the “American Idol” judges went at it on last night’s show.
The Twitter eruption came just hours after Wednesday’s broadcast, during which Minaj and Carey got heated while arguing about the contestants, with Minaj waving a cotton swab at Carey and advising her to clean out her ears, and Carey burning Minaj for failing to collect Billboard Hot 100 hits.

But Minaj was not done.
On Thursday, the rapper unloaded on Twitter, bringing up reports that “American Idol” wanted to replace Carey with Jennifer Lopez before the season ended and retweeting followers who happily piled on Carey.
Referring to an “Idol” recap about Carey burning her, Minaj wrote, “Bwaha! Burn? Shes sad i tied her record for Hot 100 entries in only 3 years of being in the game. Yep, a black female rapper.”
“What u SHOULD be doing (wit your messy a**) is asking why a woman SO successful at her age, is still so INSECURE, and bitter,” continued Minaj.
She added, “All dem #1s but JLo phone ringin? Lol. I guess having a personality, being a secure woman, and giving genuine critique still trumps that.”
Carey has not yet responded on Twitter — but expect sparks to fly on Thursday’s live “Idol.”
