‘Necessary Roughness’ Recruits ‘Mad Men,’ ‘Teen Wolf’ Alums

Necessary Roughness is ramping up for season three.

Sam Page (Mad Men, Switched at Birth), Sinqua Walls (Teen Wolf, Friday Night Lights) and Kate Miner (Persons Unknown, Hellcats) have been added to the growing slate of guest stars on the USA Network drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Miner will appear in at least four episodes in the recurring role of the "irresistible" Sheera Kane, an up-and-coming model with a wild streak who catches TK's (Mehcad Brooks) eye. She first appears in episode three.

Walls will also appear in the third episode, playing star basketball player Devon Langer, the son of Lana, played by previously announced guest star Garcelle Beauvais.

Page makes his appearance as Sam Conte, a V3 agent who represents one of Dani's (Callie Thorne) clients. A talented agent, Sam would love to mix business and pleasure with Dani. He will appear in two episodes, the first of which will be episode four.

The three join new additions John Stamos, David Anders, Karissa Lee Staples and Autumn Reeser.

Necessary Roughness picks up six months after the New York Hawks' playoff run. Big changes for the football team force Dani, TK and Matt (Marc Blucas) to reconsider their futures with the franchise. Scott Cohen co-stars.

Co-creators Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro executive produce, alongside Kevin Dowling. Necessary Roughness is produced by Sony Pictures TV and Universal Cable Productions.

Page, whose other TV credits include Scandal and The Client List, is repped by Gersh and Inphenate. Walls, who also recurred on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, is repped by Innovative Artists.

Necessary Roughness returns at 10 p.m. June 12 on USA Network.
