American Idol gave Fox a win on Wednesday night. Averaging a 3.2 rating with adults 18-49 and 12.2 million viewers, the competition was off two tenths of a point from last week's final demo returns but steady in total viewers.
An even Survivor (2.7 adults) was the only new outing for CBS. Encores of Criminal Minds and CSI followed, giving the network an average 1.9 rating with adults 18-49 and 7.8 million viewers.

NBC had new outings for Dateline (1.3 adults) and Law & Order: SVU (1.8 adults), up a respective one and two tenths of a point from their last originals. An encore of Chicago Fire finished the night, giving the network an average 1.4 rating in the demo and 5.6 million viewers.
After mostly holding its own after an encore of Modern Family last week, ABC's How To Live With Your Parents (1.5 adults) fared much worse as the network's sole original broadcast of the night. It was down a half of a point in the demo, giving the network an average 1.3 adults rating and 4.2 million viewers for the night.
The CW saw boosts for both Arrow (1.0 adults) and Supernatural (1.0 adults). The series were up a respective one and two tenths of a point -- and with 2.4 million viewers, Supernatural brought in its second most-watched episode of the season. The network averaged a 1.0 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.7 million viewers.
Univision averaged a 1.5 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers.
