Fantasia returned to “American Idol” on Thursday, one year after performing on the season finale.
This time the season 3 winner performed “Lose to Win” from her upcoming album, The Side Effects of You.
The singer got a rousing standing ovation from the judges, and appeared to be choking back tears at the end of the performance.
