Amazon's Zombieland is up and running.
The pilot, based on the 2009 Columbia Pictures film of the same name, is now streaming on the website's Instant video service. It's one of seven comedy pilots Amazon will screen for subscribers as it decides which will receive full-season orders. The company has also ordered five kids-targeted pilots.

Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin and Woody Harrelson starred in the original as four survivors of a zombie apocalypse. The pilot follows the same format, with Tyler Ross, Maiara Walsh, Kirk Ward and Izabela Vidovic filling the respective roles.
Zombieland comes to Amazon from Sony Pictures TV, and its pickup to series will depend largely on crowd-sourcing from subscribers. The original creative film writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and producer Gavin Polone. Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) directed the pilot.
For those not already members of Amazon Instant, the original comedy has released a trailer for the web.
