TV Ratings: ‘Fashion Star,’ ‘Nikita’ and ‘Rock Center’ Grow on Friday

Undercover Boss (1.4 adults) kicked off the night down three tenths of a point from its last original on CBS. Vegas (0.9 adults) and Blue Bloods (1.3 adults) only dropped by a tenth of a point each, though the former was at a series low. CBS averaged a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49 and 8.2 million viewers.

Back-to-back episodes of Happy Endings (0.8 and 0.6 adults) were both down from last week's showings on ABC, dropping a respective three and four tenths of a point. After an encore of Shark Tank, 20/20 (1.5 adults) was down three tenths of a point -- though it was the night's strongest performer in the demo across all broadcast networks. ABC averaged a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers.

Fashion Star (0.8 adults) rose two tenths of a point on NBC. Despite the repeat lead-in from Grimm, Rock Center (0.8 adults) was also up, rising a tenth of a point from last week. NBC averaged a 0.8 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers.

A two-hour block of Kitchen Nightmares encores fetched a 0.8 rating with adults 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers on Fox.

On the CW, Nikita (0.4 adults) was up a tenth of a point from last week. An encore of The Carrie Diaries filled the hour left by the recently shelved Cult. The network averaged a 0.3 rating with adults 18-49 and 955,000 viewers.
