“Lonely Demi Moore has become a virtual recluse after cutting ties with those closest to her,” claims the National Enquirer, which has a habit of getting stuff about the actress wrong.
According to the magazine, Moore’s friends “fear she’s teetering on the edge of another meltdown.”
The Enquirer alleges that Moore is refusing pals’ offers of help, supposedly telling them, “I’m tired of bothering people with my problems.”
“It’s incredibly worrying for everyone around her,” explains a so-called “source” for the tabloid. “She’s now refusing to take calls from some of her oldest friends, and everyone’s really concerned about her.”
At this point, we’d like to point out the Enquirer’s less than sterling track record with Moore, including false allegations of a reconciliation with Ashton Kutcher and a “lesbian fling” with Brandi Glanville.
This latest tale of alarm about her condition is just more of the same tabloid nonsense.
A source close to Moore tells Gossip Cop it’s “completely untrue.”
