Angie Miller is back in the ”American Idol” game.
After a rare misstep last week, the beloved contestant was back in fine form on Wednesday’s Rock Night, slaying her cover of “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence.
“I think this was a perfect choice for you, because you were able to start on the piano and still stay true to the genre we’re doing tonight,” said Nicki Minaj, adding, ”Your voice really did sound amazing.”
Randy Jackson noted that Miller’s heart is often with “edgy” music, making the song a “great choice” for her.
“You did an amazing job on it,” he added. ”The note on the end was stellar.”
Mariah Carey agreed, saying, “I felt that this was you. I really appreciated this song and you. I thought it was a perfect match.”
