Conan O'Brien
TBS is keeping the lights on at Conan.
Conan O'Brien's late-night talk show has been renewed through November 2015, TBS announced Monday.
The series launched in November 2010 and marked the cable network's entry into the late-night space.

"When we invited Conan O'Brien to come to TBS, we knew he would bring with him a passionately loyal following of young adults," said Michael Wright, president and head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies. "Conan and his colleagues at Team Coco have gone far beyond that by making Conan the top late-night brand in the digital arena. We are proud to extend our relationship with Conan as he continues to forge the future of late night. I just wish we didn’t decide to tell him on April Fools' Day."
In announcing the renewal, TBS noted that Conan features the youngest median age of any other late-night talk show, a key figure as the network looks to build its comedy brand on the back of O'Brien and syndicated repeats of The Big Bang Theory.
The fifth-season renewal comes as NBC continues to make headlines with its planned move of Jimmy Fallon to replace Jay Leno at The Tonight Show, where O'Brien's tenure was short-lived. O'Brien remains a valuable property for the cabler; his Conaco Productions banner will also launch a companion late-night talk show hosted by Pete Holmes in the fall.
