Starz
Max Irons in "The White Queen"
Starz is looking to capitalize in The Host, releasing a new teaser featuring the film's co-star, Max Irons.
In a stark contrast to the slower-paced first-look the premium cable network released in February, the new promo puts the spotlight on Irons' King Edward IV -- the star of its original series The White Queen.
STORY: Starz Orders Historical Drama Based on 'Cousins of War' Book Trilogy
The 30-second clip features the king's steamy love life in the drama that is as much a story of love and lust, seduction and deception, betrayal and murder that's told through the perspective of three women -- Elizabeth Woodville, Margaret Beaufort and Anne Neville.
White Queen's 10-part season, a co-production with the BBC, also stars David Oakes as third royal sibling Duke of Clarence, as well as Janet McTeer, James Frain, Rebecca Ferguson, Amanda Hale, Faye Marsay, Ben Lamb, Tom McKay and Eleanor Tomlinson.
A premiere date has not yet been set.
