Pattie Mallette doesn’t seem concerned about whispers that her son Justin Bieber is in the midst of some kind of crisis.
Appearing on HuffPost Live on Thursday, Mallette was asked about speculation that Bieber is having a “breakdown” because he’s recently exhibited some “different behavior.”

The Biebs’ mom replied that she didn’t “know what to say.”
Asked if she was worried about Bieber, Mallette answered, “I think moms always worry about their children.”
As for whether that “worry” has changed now that Bieber is 19 years old, Mallette explained, ”You know, letting go… it’s difficult. I think that there’s always an element of extra worry from parents, when they sort of have to let go a little bit.”
“The rules have changed now that he’s 19… it’s just different,” added Mallette.
