Jared Leto gave a radio interview to England’s 104.9 Xfm, and after discussing his band 30 Seconds To Mars’ new album, when asked what the “weirdest thing you’ve ever been sent,” he revealed a fan “cut their ear off once and sent it to me… A whole ear. The Van Gogh move.”

He added that the ear was accompanied by a note that read, “Are you listening?”
Leto said, “I never knew who it was, who’s missing their ear out there.”
The rocker-actor noted, “I poked a hole in it and wore it as a necklace,” but urged listeners, “Just don’t put your entire body in a case and send it to us.”
