Who can compete with an adorable infant?
Certainly not Jessica Simpson, whose too-cute-for-words baby girl Maxwell totally stole the spotlight during an in-store appearance on Saturday.

An expectant Simpson and sister Ashlee were at Belk Southpark in Charlotte to promote their fashion line, but little Maxwell got more than her fair share of attention, too.
Maxwell will turn 1 in May, shortly before she gets a little brother.
