“Five-months-pregnant Kim Kardashian has packed on 65 pounds, and sources say her romance with baby daddy Kanye West is over!” declares the National Enquirer, which has been laughably wrong about the couple for months.
The tabloid’s insiders claim that Kardashian’s “enormous weight gain has played a major role in her perception of Kanye’s lack of interest, and now Kim is falling apart after learning about his flirtatious behavior in Paris.”
Huh?
“Kim and Kanye’s relationship used to be all about soft music, candlelight dinners and romantic nights together,” says one Enquirer source. “But now that Kim has put on such a large amount of weight, Kanye seems to be busier with his music schedule than ever — and Kim doesn’t think it’s a coincidence.”
According to the mag’s insider, “their romantic relationship has become more like a friendship, and Kim thinks he sees her more as a buddy than a lover.”
Maybe we shouldn’t be trusting the tabloid that wrongly thinks Kim’s mom Kris wants her sister Kourtney to raise the baby to have a good grasp on relationship dynamics with the family.
In any case, the Enquirer alleges that Kardashian is “terrified” the “hard-partying [West] could fool around” on her during the pregnancy, possibly with model Cara Delevingne.
“She’s concerned about Kanye cheating, and his disinterested and distracted attitude isn’t helping,” explains an insider for the tab, which goes on to report that Kardashian often can’t track down West and suspects he may be doing more than working on music.
Of course, the Enquirer doesn’t have any actual evidence — or even tips — about West straying, instead basing this entire story on speculation about Kardashian’s purported insecurities.
“Kim feels terribly unattractive, and as her weight explodes she’s getting more clingy and needy — which only turns off Kanye more,” explains the magazine’s source.
We’re a little “turned off” by the Enquirer’s reckless approach to this story.
For one thing, Kardashian has not gained “65 pounds” — as Gossip Cop reported, it’s less than a third of that.
And she has no “cheating” concerns about West during her pregnancy, because, as the tabloid’s lack of specifics shows, there’s nothing to make her worried.
A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer story is “silly.”
