TV usage among adults 18-49 was down 5 percent during the first Friday of daylight savings time, and many series suffered from the drops.
Following an evening of encores, CBS' Blue Bloods (1.7 adults) was an exception at 10 p.m.. The series was up three tenths of a point from last week, topping all of the night's broadcasts with adults 18-49. CBS averaged a 1.4 rating in the demo and 7.96 million viewers.
ABC saw Last Man Standing (1.3 adults) and Malibu Country (1.0 adults) drop by two and three tenths of a point, respectively. A Shark Tank encore gave 20/20 (1.4 adults) a softer lead. The series was down two tenths of a point but at its second highest audience in three months. The network averaged a 1.4 adults rating and 5.8 million viewers.
Fashion Star (0.8 adults) saw no boost in its second week, while Grimm (1.4 adults) was down a tenth of a point from its return. Rock Center With Brian Williams (0.7 adults) was down by two tenths of a point, giving NBC a average 1.0 adults rating and 3.6 million viewers.
Kitchen Nightmares (1.1 adults) and Touch (0.6 adults) were both down a tenth of a point from last week's outings, with the latter hitting a new series low. Fox averaged a 0.8 rating with 18-49-ers and 2.7 million viewers.
Pulling a 0.4 adults rating and 1.1 million viewers for the night, the CW saw boosts for both Nikita (0.5 adults) and Cult (0.3 adults). Each grew by a tenth of a point from last week.
