Following the pop star’s shirtless stroll through London during his 19th birthday celebration, Wilde tweeted, “Bieber, put your f**king shirt on.”

In a new interview with CNN, the actress describes the backlash that followed.

Wilde says Bieber’s famously passionate fans filled her Twitter feed with “the most hilarious abuse.”

“I’m going to get attacked with acid, someone’s going to throw acid in my face,” joked Wilde, adding, “If that happens, there are 35 million Beliebers that did it, so find them.”

The actress insists that she meant no ill will with her message about Bieber’s shiftlessness.

She explains, “You know, it’s something I’d say to my little brother, and I probably have said it. You know, just, ‘Put your shirt on. It’s cold out there.’”
