Harrison Ford has reportedly signed on for a role in Anchorman 2.
The actor will play a legendary newscaster in the highly anticipated comedy sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Anchorman 2 will feature the original movie’s stars, including Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, and David Koechner.
“Saturday Night Live” alum Kristen Wiig has also joined the cast.
As it happens, Ford portrayed an anchorman in 2010′s Morning Glory.
He is set to portray baseball exec Branch Rickey in the upcoming Jackie Robinson biopic 42.
