TNT is continuing to bulk up on unscripted offerings, ordering a docu-drama revolving around an air ambulance crew.
The cable network home to scripted entries Perception and Dallas has picked up six hourlong episodes of Life Flight (working title) for early 2014.

The series follows the teams at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where the Life Flight service was created and follows the teams as they perform life-saving procedures both on the ground and hundreds of feet in the air. The series will feature both the pilots, doctors, paramedics and nurses as they treat patients.
Fox Television Studios will produce the series, which also hails from Boardwalk Entertainment group, with Saving Grace's Gary A. Randall, Timothy Scott Bogart (Majors & Minors) and Brad Bogart on board as executive producers.
Life Flight becomes the latest unscripted offering to get the green light at TNT. The cabler recently added Jerry Bruckheimer's Marshal Law: Texas, a six-episode series about the U.S. Marshals working in the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force. Upcoming docuseries also include Cold Justice and Save Our Business at the network as it attempts to build a year-round lineup of original programming.
