STORY: TV Pilots 2013: The Complete Guide

Set in present-day Pittsburgh, a startling death reignites the feud between these two legendary families. Unleashing decades of resentment, the blue-collar McCoys will put the Hatfields' wealth and power at risk as they go to war for control of the city.

De Mornay will play Mary Hatfield, a sophisticated, wealthy and driven woman who's the mayor of Pittsburgh and who runs the city through the family's development company and political connections. Although she married into the family, at this point, she is the family, and all decisions go through her. According to her estranged husband, she's changed and is holding onto a private heartache from years ago.

Relative newcomer Nick Westrate (Mildred Pierce) will play De Mornay's son, Randall, a smug rich kid with a lot to prove and a suspect in the death of a McCoy.
