One Direction certainly has a lot of haters.

The boy band, which was recently blasted by Boy George and British singer Jake Bugg, was crowned “Worst Band of the Year” at the NME (New Music Express) Awards in London on Wednesday night.

Not surprisingly, the singers weren’t present to accept the (dis)honor.

Harry Styles also took the title for “Villain of the Year” at the awards ceremony.

But the pop star was a good sport about the jab, tweeting on Wednesday, “And thank you to @NME for my award tonight. Gotta take the rough with the smooth eh?”

The group also received the “Worst Band” award from NME last year.

What do you think about the music mag naming One Direction “Worst Band of the Year” two years in a row?
