TV Ratings: ABC Leads Monday, ‘Bones’ Grows, Steady ‘Mother’ Tops Night

ABC won its second Monday thanks to a mostly even lineup, averaging a 2.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 9.6 million viewers. The Bachelor (2.9 adults) was off a tenth of a point from last week's high, while Castle (2.3 adults) was steady.

Bones (2.3 adults) was up a tenth of a point on Fox, giving it the distinction of being the night's only grower. A new episode of The Following (2.7 adults), off just a tenth of a point, pushed Fox to an average 2.5 adults rating for the night and 8.6 million viewers.

An even How I Met Your Mother (3.4 adults) notched a notable victory on CBS. The series topped all Monday broadcasts (including neighboring 2 Broke Girls) in the key demo for the first time this season. Rules of Engagement (2.6 adults) and 2 Broke Girls (3.2 adults) were both down three tenths of a point, while Mike & Molly (2.7 adults) dropped half of a point. All three were at season lows. An encore of Hawaii Five-0 wrapped up the night, giving the network an average 2.5 rating with adults 18-49 and 8.2 million viewers.

Both The Biggest Loser (2.1 adults) and Deception (1.2 adults) were even with the previous week, giving NBC a 1.8 adults rating for the night and 4.9 million viewers.

The CW saw The Carrie Diaries (0.5 adults) and 90210 (0.3 adults) rebound from last week's lows, each up a tenth of a point. The network averaged a 0.4 adults rating and 839,000 viewers.

Univision averaged a 1.6 adults rating and 3.8 million viewers.
