What I love about Cossby Sweater is that her songs are full of references for diehard fans of the shows she's singing about — in this case, Freaks and Geeks — but they also work as stand-alone pieces of music. Not to mention the fact that Allie manages to find the pathos in these characters. You can tell she legitimately loves and sympathizes with Sam Weir. And damn it, so do I.
