The family of a longtime confidant to John F. Kennedy discovered an incredible collection of never before seen photos and keepsakes hidden away in a closet. The items are expected to go for up to $20,000 to $40,000 at auction next month.
The photo collection was discovered in the closet of David F. Powers, White House special assistant, first curator of the JFK Library in Boston, and JFK's longtime confidant.
